IAPM Successfully Organises the 3rd BFP!

The third Billionaires for Peace Conclave (BFP), organised by the I Am Peacekeeper Movement (IAPM), drew to a successful close on May 21, 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. The two-day gathering brought together Nobel laureates such as Mohan Munasinghe, Kailash Satyarthi, Houcine Abassi and Grigorii Pelman, along with policymakers, business leaders, philanthropists, spiritual figures and cultural icons to discuss peace, humanity and sustainable development. The event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble 14th President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, with Governor of Maharashtra Shri Jishnu Dev Varma and RSS leader Shri Suresh Bhaiyaji Joshi as guests of honour. A recorded virtual address from Timor-Leste President and Nobel Peace Prize winner José Manuel Ramos-Horta was also featured.

Former President Ram Nath Kovind stressed that “material prosperity alone cannot create human well‑being. Peace cannot merely be viewed as the absence of war; it is the presence of justice, trust, opportunity, and dignity for all.” Governor Jishnu Dev Varma remarked that “the true strength of any civilization lies in its ability to nurture peace, coexistence, and human dignity.”

Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, founder of the I Am Peacekeeper Movement, said the conclave’s purpose was to unite Nobel laureates and leading voices from business, governance, spirituality, philanthropy and the social sector to reflect on peace’s central role today. “When influential voices come together around a shared mission, their message can inspire millions worldwide,” he added.

Following momentum from earlier editions and last year’s Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit in Dubai, the movement’s initiatives have reached more than 2.1 million people globally through work in schools, colleges, institutions and communities. The IAPM remains focused on promoting inner peace, justice, compassion and collective responsibility across regions.
Panels at the conclave explored themes including “Inner Peace as the Foundation of World Peace,” “Justice as a Companion of Peace,” and “The Role of Billionaires in Advancing World Peace and Justice.”

A notable development at the event was the signing of an MoU between the Billionaires for Peace Conclave and the Sood Charity Foundation, with actor-philanthropist Sonu Sood pledging support for the movement’s peace, humanitarian and social-impact aims. Speaking at the conclave, Sonu Sood said, “It’s an incredible platform. The people here are outstanding achievers, and being among like-minded individuals committed to helping society is inspiring.”
Nobel laureate Mohan Munasinghe warned that global challenges—climate stress, inequality, resource scarcity and conflict—are deeply interconnected and require coordinated action by governments, businesses and civil society.

The conclave also presented I Am Peacekeeper Movement Champion Awards to honour contributions across business, peacebuilding, public service and the arts. Recipients included Acharya Balkrishna (Business), Acharya Lokesh Muni (Justice & Peace), Aditi Tatkare (Youth & Women), and Aishwarya Majmudar (Artist & Literature), among others.

The successful conclave underscored India’s growing role as a hub for global conversations on peace, leadership and humanity.
