#SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s ‘knowledge-based’ gameshow, ‘#KaunBanegaCrorepatiSeason14’ will be welcoming 26 year old #MujahidMomin to the hotseat. As part of the ‘#AshaAbhilasha’ week, the contestant would be having his wishes granted by Mr Bachchan and the ‘manch’, who would act quite like a genie. The Quality Engineer at a car manufacturing company would be taking his seat opposite host, Mr #AmitabhBachchan on 1st November. Playing the game smartly, he would be moving towards winning grander amounts and also engaging in some great conversation with the host.
The contestant would start by dubbing Big B to be a ‘lighthouse’ in the middle of the sea which is the contestants and the audience. He would ask the host to call him ‘Sameer’ since that is what he is known as at home. Speaking of his passion for food, Momin would explain to Mr. Bachchan how it was his grandfather, his nanaji, who instilled it in him since as a child, he would frequently go to restaurants with him. The conversation would also steer towards Mrs Jaya Bachchan who studied in FTII, Pune and participated with much fervour in Ganapati festivals in the city. Momin would also narrate the haunting tale of Shaniwar Wada and how one can still hear the echoes of a child screaming ‘kaka mala vachva’ in the corridors of the ancient palace.
As part of the ‘Asha Abhilasha’ special week, Momin would be asking if a call could be made to his Nanaji who is a big fan of Mr Bachchan, having also introduced his grandson to his movies. The call would be a special one as the contestant would be gifting special attar from his Nanaji to him. Musk and Rose scented, the perfumes would be much appreciated by the host who would even apply some in front of Nanaji, all the while commending him on his choice of scent.
Talking about his experience of being on the show Momin shares, “an experience that I will cherish for a lifetime, that is all I have words for what I experienced in the show. It was magical, especially the moment when I was able to give sir the attar from my Nanaji. It is because of my parents,my nanaji that I have reached the hotseat. I am just a medium for them to achieve their dreams. Talking to Mr Bachchan I told him about how my grandfather would take me to different eateries as a child and Nanaji spoke about how we would watch Sholay when it would come on tv, all night long. Winning for the game also helped me unlock the path to my dreams. I thank Sony TV and the manch of KBC for giving me this golden opportunity.”
