New Avengers: Doomsday Teaser Highlights Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Hinting at His Dark Origin Story!

Marvel Studios has released an exclusive promo for the year’s most anticipated blockbuster, Avengers: Doomsday, arriving in Indian theaters in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on December 18, 2026.

Marvel Studios debuted a special look at Avengers: Doomsday, offering a closer glimpse at Robert Downey Jr.’s Victor von Doom, during an electrifying showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The new preview for the epic cinematic event was introduced onstage by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige alongside Academy Award® winner Robert Downey Jr. (Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom), Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), and Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter).

The promo finally puts Doctor Doom in the spotlight, setting up Downey Jr as the ultimate supervillain of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The promo shows Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) setting the stage for Doctor Doom’s villainous arc, while also teasing a massive fight between the new MCU villain and Thor.
