Prajakta Gaikwad and Gauri Ingawale to be each other’s “Pathrakhin”!

Pathrakhin’ in marathi is similar to a bridesmaid or maid of honor providing emotional support and company. “Pathrakhin” is an upcoming Star Pravah show that tells the story of two sisters, #Bhagyashree and #Prajakta, who stand firmly by each other through every pain and every crisis. Through this series, viewers will get to experience the unconditional love, sacrifice, and deep bond between these sisters. Their lives, always intertwined in happiness and sorrow, take an unexpected turn, and the show will grippingly depict how their relationship survives the tests of circumstances, society, and destiny.

With this soon‑to‑launch show on Star Pravah, well‑known actress Prajakta Gaikwad is making a powerful comeback to television after five years, while talented actress Gauri Ingawale, who has impressed audiences with her performances in several films, is making a strong entry into the world of TV serials through “Pathrakhin.”

Speaking about how it feels to return to serials, Prajakta said she is extremely excited to meet the audience again. For a long time, people had been asking her when she would do a series next, and “Pathrakhin” came to her as a golden opportunity. With a popular channel like Star Pravah and a production house like Soham Productions from the Bandekar family backing it, she had no reason to say no. In the meantime, she has worked in many Marathi and South Indian films and in numerous advertisements, but she calls television her most beloved medium.

She also shared details about her character: her role is very different from the ones she has played so far, and the character’s name is Prajakta Kulkarni. Having lost her parents at a very young age, Prajakta is raised by her maternal uncle Chandrashekhar Vaidya, and for her, her uncle and aunt are like Vitthal and Rakhumai. Every word of theirs is final for her. She has immense love for the Vaidya family and is ready to do anything for the well‑being of this household. She expressed the hope that the audience will shower this role with love as well.

Actress Gauri Ingawale is also very excited to enter the world of television serials. She said she had wanted to do a TV series for a long time, and it would not be wrong to say that “Pathrakhin” is fulfilling that wish. She feels that working in television is a very different experience and that she is getting to know this world anew. Through serials, you reach every household, which makes her very eager and hopeful. Her family has encouraged her a lot, and that support helped her decide to take up this show; she is confident that the series and all its characters will definitely be loved by the viewers.

“Pathrakhin” is produced by Soham Adesh Bandekar’s Soham Production, and renowned director Rahul Lingayat will be directing the series. Many veteran actors will also be seen in important roles.
