Good news for the fans of #PriyaMalik. The poet, actor, host, writer and teacher have been honoured for her outstanding performance in Supporting Role for #SheerQorma by the #YellowstoneInternationalFilmFestival. She plays Susan, onscreen daughter-in-law of veteran actor #ShabanaAzmi, in this much-talked about short film, helmed by #FarazAarifAnsari.
“Recognitions like this means a lot. Sheer Qorma is a beautiful film, I feel proud to be a part of this journey.*,” she continues, “The film starts with me. My dialogue is the first dialogue of the film and I am so grateful for that opportunity. It’s an awkward family dinner on the occasion of Eid, and I got the honour of sharing the screen with such stalwarts like Shabana Azmiji, Divya Dutta, Swara Bhaskar and Jitin Gulati, he is playing the character of my husband in it.”
