We hope you all are enjoying the monsoon season to the fullest! Slopes filled with plantations, waterfalls and trekking routes, the sleepy hill station in the rain – are primary attraction of monsoon. And we hope, you have travelled to such places to enjoy the season. After months of sweltering heat, the monsoon season is indeed a welcome change. The rains make the surrounding greenery come alive, make everything vivid.
However, we can’t ignore the side effects of monsoon too which is largely affecting our city lives. Potholes continues to claim lives in Mumbai and adjoining places. Waterlogging, Bridge collapse, building collapse, poor communication means, Dengue-Malaria etc – monsoon-generated factors are largely impacting our city lives. No solution in sight as the state and local administration are dumb spectators every year. It seems we also have adjusted ourselves with the situation.
