This weekend, #SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s homegrown kids singing reality show, ‘#SuperstarSinger3’, is going to be special in many ways! While the Saturday episode will usher in the holiday cheer with the ‘#SummerHoliday’ special, the Sunday episode will celebrate the legendary #RDBurman and his glorious contribution to Indian cinema with the ‘#RD40Special’.
In a spectacular showcase of talent in the ‘RD 40 Special’, 14-year-old Shubh Sutradhar from Siliguri, West Bengal along with his captain Arunita Kanjilal will mesmerize the audience with their beautiful renditions of ‘Tumse Milke’ and ‘Is Mod Se Jate Hain’. A highly impressed Super Judge Neha Kakkar will praise the duo, saying, “Wow! What an incredible performance by Arunita and Shubh! From the mesmerizing rendition of ‘Tumse Milke’ to the beautiful and melodious ‘Is Mod Se Jaate Hain,’ you both surpassed all expectations. Arunita, since your debut on Indian Idol 14, I’ve always believed you’re one of the best talents on Sony Entertainment Television. Your versatility and melodious voice continue to amaze me. Shubh, you sang with such finesse, exceeding all limits. I remember your audition when you were told you couldn’t become a singer. Look at you now, proving them wrong. I’m proud of the training you received, and how you’ve flourished on Superstar Singer 3. Hats off to both of you!”
Amazed by the performance, Captain Pawandeep Ranjan will share, “Shubh, your rendition was truly melodious, and the way you effortlessly handled such a challenging composition was remarkable. It’s no easy feat, but you sang it with ease, leaving us all amazed. Your fan following speaks volumes about your talent, and I have a special way of expressing their admiration through the song ‘Samne Yeh Kon Aya’.”
Making the day even more special for Shubh will be the rising star, Mohammad Faiz, winner of Superstar Singer 2, who will express his appreciation for Shubh Sutradhar’s singing and propose a potential collaboration.
Mohammad Faiz will also present his lucky strap, received from Captain Pawandeep to Shubh Sutradhar as a token of goodwill, and together, they will serenade the audience as they sing ‘Tu Milta Hai Mujhe’. Unable to contain her excitement and filled with pride, Captain Arunita Kanjilal, who was Mohammad Faiz’s captain in Season 2, will embrace both him and Shubh Sutradhar.
