The Ahmedabad start-up got a good deal of 25 lakhs for 20% stake from Sharks – Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar and Aman Gupta.

Men’s intimate hygiene products are not popular in the market, although it’s very much required. While the problems of sweat, and grime in daily life create unsanitary problems for men, the conversation has never tabled as to how to solve the problem. Most of the time, these things are passed around in whispers, never really reaching the right ears. Turning the tables with a revolutionary idea, Maloo sisters, Anushree and Ananya started ‘Nuutjob’, a brand that specializes in grooming products that takes care of the male intimate hygiene problem. This out of the box idea came to life with the Maloo sisters came across the issues faced by the men in their family and realized that the male intimate hygiene is an often ignored sector with immense potential. With a vision to invigorate the space with a one of its kind offering, the duo is working towards improving men’s health and wellness. Creating a niche for themselves in the men’s grooming space with Nuutjob, the Maloo sisters aims spreading a very important message about male hygiene.

Talking about their experience on Shark Tank India, Anushree Maloo said, “it’s amazing how we got this opportunity at just the right time in our lives and how it completely changed our lives for the better. Being a women run business in the male hygiene industry is difficult but before that even talking about male hygiene was difficult. There has not been much research into this area because nobody thought of doing something for men’s intimate parts and we are trying to bring a change into that thought process by amplifying the fact that men should care about their hygiene down under. We started this because we saw what the men in our own family went through and we wanted to do something about it. With Sony Entertainment Television and Shark Tank India showcasing their support for our business product is huge deal for us because this is not like a regular product that people speak about. We thank Sharks Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar and Aman Gupta for believing in us with the male intimate hygiene space where not a lot of people have ventured into especially women. Now that we have them onboard, we are sure that we are going to be a nationwide success in no time and get people to accept the use of such products!”

To witness this bold business venture get a deal, tune in to Shark Tank India every Monday to Friday at 9:00 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
