Star Pravah Launches Unique Initiative Alongside Marathi Medium, ‘Vachua Marathi… Jaguya Marathi’!

On the occasion of Marathi Classical Language Pride Day, Star Pravah has launched a unique initiative titled #‘VachuaMarathiJaguya Marathi’ (Let’s Read Marathi… Let’s Live Marathi) to celebrate the love for the Marathi language across Maharashtra.

The initiative aims to preserve and pass on the rich legacy of Marathi language, literature and reading culture to the next generation. Through this campaign, Star Pravah is appealing to Marathi enthusiasts across the state to donate a Marathi book that has been carefully preserved in their homes.

Books that have remained cherished possessions in our homes for years are more than just printed pages. They carry memories, ideas and the rich heritage of Marathi literature. Star Pravah is now making an effort to pass this invaluable legacy on to young readers.

Even today, several schools across Maharashtra do not have separate libraries for their students. The key objective of this initiative is to encourage children to develop a love for reading, provide them with access to quality Marathi literature and enrich their worldview through books.

In today’s digital age, preserving the habit of reading has become a challenge. However, reading plays an important role in shaping students’ personalities and broadening their thinking. With the aim of introducing students to Marathi literature and encouraging reading alongside their education, Star Pravah has undertaken this initiative.

The channel’s artistes have also extended an enthusiastic response to the campaign and are actively participating in it. By donating their favourite Marathi books from home, they are encouraging people across Maharashtra to join the initiative.

The Star Pravah series Marathi Medium highlights the importance of education in the Marathi medium and the value of one’s mother tongue. Taking this message beyond the show and turning it into meaningful action, the channel has launched ‘Vachua Marathi… Jaguya Marathi’.

Let’s take Marathi books to every corner of Maharashtra…..Vachua Marathi… Jaguya Marathi!
