Madhur Bhandarkar held a special screening of his latest film – Indu Sarkar at Atharva Institute of Film and TV. Indu Sarkar is a critically acclaimed film based on the 1975 emergency held in India starring Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher and Tota Roy Chowdhury. Madhur Bhandarkar and lead actress of the film Kirti Kulhari were present to interact with the students. Indian Princess Winner 2014 Chandni Sharma was the moderator After the screening, a small Q/A session followed between the filmmaker and the students who would be entering the world of cinema soon. Madhur Bhandarkar said, “The youth needs to be aware about the emergency period in India. I have received invitations to showcase the film in locations like Russian, London, Norway, etc. which I will do soon.” Kirti Kulhari said, “I am so happy to see the excitement in today’s generation for Indu Sarkar.”
